Biography

First Sergeant Joe Flores was born and raised in Plainview, Texas and joined the US Army on June 1, 1994. First Sergeant Flores graduated Basic Training andAdvanced  Individual Training from Fort Sill Oklahoma being awarded the MOS of 13F, Fire Support Specialist. He served in Light Infantry, Stryker, and Mechanized  Infantry assignments holding numerous  positions to include, RTO, Forward  Observer, Joint Fires Observer, Fire Support Team Leader, RECON Knight Platoon Sergeant, FireSupport Non Commissioned Officer, Brigade Fire Support Operations Non Commissioned  Officer and Headquarters Battery First Sergeant.

First Sergeant's assignments include; HHS 7th BN 8th FA, 25th Infantry Division (L), Schofield Barracks, HI; HHB IIId rmored Corps Artillery, Fort Sill, OK; C Co 5th BN 20th IN, 3rd StrykerBDE, Fort Lewis, WA; G TRP, 10th Cav, 1st BDE, 4th ID, Fort Hood, TX; HHT, 7rh SQDN 10th CAV, 4th ID, Fort Hood, TX; Fire Support Test Directorate, Operational Test Command, FortSill, OK; HHB 5th BN 82nd FA, 1 CD; HHC 4th BCT, 1st CD, Fort Hood Texas. First Sergeant Flores currently is working as the JROTC LET 2 Army Instructor for Harker Heights HighSchool.

First Sergeant Flores also holds a Bachelors Degree in Health Science from the American Military University, Charles Town, West Virginia.
