The Lake District

We are lucky enough to live just 45 minutes away from Penrith which is the northern gateway to the Lake District. I have been going there since I was very small, I had my stag night there and have owned a couple of boats over the years, moored at Windermere and Ullswater.

Now we have the van its always somewhere we visit every now and again. Sometimes its a boys trip which usually means a couple of vans parked in a pub car park or half way up a mountain. There are some lovely CL sites as well as a few great wild camping spots.
