Unidentified

Can anyone help me identify the people and places in these pictures? I found them among my parents' belongings, so they must be friends or relatives. Probably from around Belle Plaine or Chelsea, Iowa, or maybe some of them are my relatives from Davenport. Please email me at haloupek at gmail dot com.

This was in a trunk that belonged to my great-grandfather, Albert Krueger. It's a large picture, that must have fit into an oval frame. The picture was damaged, and I've cropped out the damaged part. Could it be Albert's mother, Wilhelmina Kanneman?

The trunk also contained two very old photo albums. A few of the photos had names on the back, and others I recognized. They were the Hansen family: Friedrich and Anna (Soenke) Hansen, my gg-grandparents, and their children, and at least one grandchild. However, many of the people in the photos are unidentified. Couple 3 - The man looks like Louis Puck. Compare with his picture on the Soenke page. Louis married Anna Christine Soenke, so presumably that is her on the right. Jarvis White Art Co, Davenport, IA.
