Welcome to the my Guitar Studio Page. Now retired, teaching private classical guitar lessons was one of the most meaningful and enjoyable things I've ever done. I enjoyed sharing music and seeing people experience the lasting pleasure that fine music making brings to them.

This is me playing my 1968 Ramirez concert guitar way back in 1972 in the room where I gave my first private lessons in my home studio. It was in 1972 that I also began teaching at my first college. Teaching community students at home and teaching performance majors at colleges and universities has been an important part of my life ever since. Behind me is a cello case made be my first cello teacher.
