Prelaptop High School Paper

I made this paper about Costa Rica during high school. There was no laptop around so it was made with glue and scissors. This paper is one of my first papers. It was made for the subject Geography in 1996. I was concerned about the Tropical Rainforest. Also it shows the beginning of my interest in crowdfunding. I never invested in Teakwood, but it was my first encounter with crowdfunding for a cause. 

Interest In Social Geography & Business Economics

In this paper there are already signs of me combining my interest in Social Geography with Business Economics. I finished both studies and still use both in my daily life and work. As a student I went to Costa Rica to see the rainforest with my own eyes.

Travel Through Costa Rica

During my studies, I traveled through Costa Rica by car with a tennis friend. My first long holiday as a student since living in The Netherlands. Two friends on an adventure to see the rainforest and the volcanoes. She, who is from Suriname, was not impressed by the rainforest. I, coming from Curaçao, was very impressed by the rainforest, the animals in the rainforest and the volcanoes.
