Utrecht to Amsterdam is not a big distance, so I chose to do Business Economics in Amsterdam instead of in Utrecht. The main attraction was that Business Economics at the Hes Amsterdam in Amsterdam had sports; besides that it was better rated than Business Economics in Utrecht.
In the 4 years that my study lasted, I got to know all kinds of sports and networking when playing sports. A nice and beautiful way of networking. It is often casual and interspersed with serious sports.
Nothing more fun to fight while working out in different teams to win and then work on an assignment together in a project team. Then the team learns to deal with each other.
During this period I obtained my diving certificate, did a wine tasting introduction course, a snooker course, but also played tennis, golf, basketball, etc. Sports were taken seriously during my study and the rules of the sports were offered extensively. Because of this I can still talk about many sports and participate at a beginner level in a lot of sports. Which makes networking easier when watching sports and participating in sports.
I got to know people in a different way during exercise. The fanaticism of some, the born leaders who take the lead in the game. The team players, those who can work well together on and off the field. I gained people’s knowledge with sports. Very useful in everyday life and networking.
*Hogeschool Economische Studies Amsterdam ( HES Amsterdam) merged in 2004. I graduated in the summer of 2004, before the merger.
