Ottman’s Boarding Academy was established by a collaboration between the Grand Alliance and the Guild based in the United Kingdom in 1952. Its aim was twofold; firstly, to nurture the members of the younger generations with supernatural powers and secondly, to assist in the training of members of the Guild.
Students are encouraged to say on the premises in the dormitories provided, while members of the Guild are free to come and go as they need. The curriculum includes everything from spelling and mathematics, to rituals and alchemy.
The Academy also doubles as something akin to an orphanage; it provides housing, support and advice to those struggling to come to terms with either their new race or new powers. The number of children rejected by their families due to supernatural abilities often find themselves enrolled into the school so that they may learn among their peers.
The Academy is based in in Oxfordshire and the school motto is “Nos omnes accipere” – “We accept all.”
