(Hamburg, 1982-1984)
Susanne Schulz (violin),
Manfred Heinig (perc),
Gregor (guitar, harmonica)
"Kaffeehausmusik vom Feinsten".
A violin and a guitar: that is how all began, and with a small test performance in a pub in Hamburg. Regardless of whether LPN played for an audience of 10 or 1000 people - all semmed possible.
Thus it came as no suprise that the group had gigs all over the Hamburg area, from Lubeck to Hannover, and could also be heard via several radio shows on NDR.
LPN played mostly instrumental, and Gregor’s orignals. like "Betsy's melody" "How can you say (your´re sorry") und "Once I travelled" were part of the repertoire.
After Gregor moved to Basel, Switzerland, LPN continued quite successfully as a professional group for another 10 years, with Mathias Gerhardt on guitar, playing in front of audiences of up to 5000 people.
Concerts were all over, even in Japan, the US, and on several cruise liners.
Photographer at larger venues of LPN was Friedemann Simon (eg photo above).

Before LPN, Susanne and Manfred played with "Hand&Fuss", and these knew Bernd Orlowski (s.u.
