CANOEING AND OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP
Greenwave understands that the environment we play in is sensitive and dynamic. That's why Leave No Trace principles are followed on all courses. Knowing where to paddle and at what time of year, and understanding local wildlife and habitat is crucial to minimizing our impact.
Roger Warnatsch is an LNT Trainer, and encourages incorporation of environmental education during every course. Implementation of BC School Curriculum such as cultural learning, history, physical education, geography and geology are also highly encouraged! See the Education page for more details.
Learn the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace, and practice Positive Impact camping by leaving it BETTER than you found it. Also, check this page on the RCABC website to see "What Else Canoeists Can Do".
