GREENWAVE
CANOEING AND OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP
CANOEING AND OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP
Greenwave is the result of years of skill and leadership and instructor development by Roger Warnatsch. He is passionate about getting all ages out and thriving in our magnificent outdoor environment. He has taught and guided extensively in BC, but has paddled, instructed or guided in western North America from the Yukon and NWT to Mexico, as well as other international locations such as France and Costa Rica.
Assistant instructors that help with Greenwave courses, are among the best instructors in BC. Roger also regularly seeks out the best students from outdoor programs to be mentored as co-instructors, giving them valuable experience to work towards their own certifications and careers in the outdoors.
Leadership development and safety is Greenwave's specialty. All courses follow guidelines set by the Recreational Canoeing Association of BC. RCBAC is a world leader in developing canoe programming and prides itself in it's high standards. In addition, leadership and safety development of the students is emphasized in every course.
Roger's certifications include:
RCABC Instructor Trainer (Lake, Moving Water, Tripping, C1, River Rescue, Expedition Guiding)
