Canoes

Greenwave has a fleet of high quality canoes and gear available for rent. Canoe models include:

• Esquif
• Hellman
• Clipper
• Evergreen
• Nova Craft
• Mad River

We can carry up to 10 canoes at a time with the truck and trailer combination which allows for a maximum of 20 participants unless other arrangements are made. Most canoes are river ready with knee pads and lash points for securing gear and flotation, and many have thigh strap anchors and straps.

Safety Gear

In addition, high quality pfds, throwbags and other safety gear such as helmets and wetsuits are available for all participants. Leaders carry safety gear such as first aid, emergency communication, maps, bear spray, etc.

A complete camp set up which has been used to feed up to 25 people on multiday camping trips is available. And everything fits into the canoes in waterproof containers! This system has been developed over years of canoe tripping with youth and adults. It includes a focus on hygiene and waste management, as well as Leave No Trace principles.

In addition to the river ready tandem canoes, we have some solo canoes and C1's. Solo canoes include:

• Modified Dagger (11' Royalex - great for beginner/intermediate solo)
