For some Girl Scouts, most of their memories come from their time at our beautiful camp properties. These properties are used for events, summer camp, meetings, trainings, etc, and they're always used for forming these core memories!
In order to maintain these properties, and avoid high costs, we rely on volunteer help to keep our properties in tip top shape for our girls. That's where you come in! If you have a skill set that you can contribute (painter, carpenter, gardener, etc) or just want to lend an extra set of hands, we would love to have you on our team!
If you are interested in joining our team, please complete the form HERE and someone will reach out to you soon!
Adopt-a-Cabin
To help maintain our cabins for our girls, we are starting a NEW initiative called "Adopt-a-Cabin" where troops can pick a cabin, or cabins, to help maintain throughout the Scout Year.
When you Adopt-a-Cabin, you're agreeing to keep up the maintenance on that specific cabin for the year. This could mean something as simple as just sweeping it out before summer camp starts or replacing old curtains/decor.
As a thank you for your troop's hard work, you will get a sign on the cabin, with your troop number on it, stating that your troop is responsible for adopting that cabin. Also, whenever the Service Unit hosts their campouts, your troop will get first dibs on your cabin!
We can't wait to see the work you do throughout the year!
Here is a link to the form to sign up to adopt your cabin(s)
Current Needs
Cabin Curtains
Our newest cabins have big beautiful windows in them, but they are in need of curtains! Each cabin has 3 windows on each side and 2 windows in the front. You can only use the adjustable tension rods for inside the window frame. Nothing is to be permanently attached to the window, frame, or wall. The curtains need to fit inside the window frame and not hang down to the floor, so if they are too long, then you will need to shorten them.
