Fishing

Grays lake offers some great fishing. Word on the lake is that there are some monster fish that enjoy taunting the most experienced angler. There is very little fishing pressure out on the open lake as not motors of any kind are allowed. In the summer most fishermen fish the channel off of Jones Island. In the winter, ice fishermen tend to enter the lake from the Jones Island parking area and like to fish the western end of the lake near the break. Make sure to bring your license and take only fish of legal size. The DNR is often in the area checking fishermen and walking into ice shacks. The regulations currently allow for no more than three >15" large mouth bass and no more than three >24" northern pike.
