Suzi2 was purchased in Tasmania in response to a call from Annie in Sydney. She was driving SuzySyd on the way to an appointment and was stuck in a traffic jam in the M5 tunnel on a swelteringly hot day - without aircon - not happy.
It is not feasible to retrofit aircon to a low value older car, more sense to buy one with aircon.
Suzi2 fitted the bill it was a tin top with aircon and a blown transfer case, but all else looked OK. It was purchased for $1300 and we managed to get it back on the road with 12 months rego for an all up cost of $2500.
2 years later we are still driving it and love it. The only downside is that it is a 1994 with the G16A engine and lacks the power of SuzySyd which had the later G16B with EFI
