We had a brainwave - Annie's mum needed a care plan that includes a need for us to spend more time in Sydney. We realised that the car rental bills would add up pretty quickly. We were heading to Sydney for the New year and found the car rental for 10 days was $1500, this triggered the decision to buy a Sydney car - so we bought Syd, over the phone - it was the best available on the day and we paid asking price $4,300 seeing the savings on car rental being a contribution. Unfortunately the slightly dodgy clutch repair ticked up another $1,500 or so and rego NSW another $1,100 - a bit up on Tassie.
After Annie's mum Grace passed away we brought it back to Tassie but it was a case of too many vehicles/registration costs and not enough drivers, so we let it go to a new home.
It's a great little unit but...........
Following the passing of Annie's mum we brought it back to Tassie but could not justify the cost of keeping it in the fleet so we had to let it go to a new home.
