The Philaco Woman's Club annually budgets for the purchase of fruit trays to be given to county home-bound residents at Thanksgiving and Christmas. The caring members of the Home Life Committee help prepare and decorate the trays for distribution. They also promote and donate to the local Food Pantry, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, and the local Girl Scout organization.

Chairman: Liz Sisung
The Philaco Woman's Club publishes a cookbook entitled "The Apalachicola Bay Cookbook". Some of the recipes appeared in the original cookbook published by the Club in 1928. These recipes constitute a part of the history of the Apalachicola Bay Area, and are available at local merchants.
The Home Life Committee is the hostess of the meeting on March 15, 2012 at the United Methodist Church on St. George Island.
Chairman Sally Crown was joined by Committee members Jody-Fortunas Wilson, Ann Cowles and Bonnie Barnby decorating beautiful fruit trays to be delivered to the Meals on Wheels clients.
Great job, ladies!!
