Chairman: Heather Huron
This very worthwhile committee actively fundraises in order to award scholarships to deserving Franklin County students as well as hosting the high school Baccalaureate. This group also promotes literacy, supports the Franklin County Public Library and the Apalachicola City Library. The ESO Reading Sorority is part of this committee as well.
The Education Committee is the hostess of the meeting on November 17, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Apalachicola.
In November, we had a great meeting at the Baptist Church in Apalachicola. The food was catered by the Culinary Arts Program from Franklin County School, and was wonderful. Eileen Annie Ball talked to us about her Tigers Program, as well as her life in Franklin County, and was thrilled by our contribution to her program.
