Every January, our Arts Committee hosts an annual event showcasing our Members' talents in photography, needlecraft, ceramics, and other impressive works of art. Local winners move on to competition at the District level.

We also foster local arts programs in the community.

We brought our entries to the State convention in April, 2012, and Judy Cook won 2nd place for her beautiful quilt, Sally Crown and Barb Paget both won Honorable Mention for their entries. Out of the many entries submitted, our Club did a wonderful job. Thank you for all your wonderful talents!

Congratulations to our District 2 Arts and Crafts Blue Ribbon winners! Sally Crown for her knitted socks, Barb Paget for her pine needle basket, and Judy Cook for her machine crafted quilt. Chairman Barb Paget helped her Committee Members decorate both the Orman House and the Raney House for Christmas. The houses will be lit and will add to the beauty of Apalachicola.
