ENGL 1113 Minor/Daily Assignments

For improvement in any skill-set, persistent practice is necessary. For improvement in writing, persistent guided practice is helpful--more than is permitted by the series of major papers required in my sections of ENGL 1113. To that end, I offer students chances to improve (encouraging them to take the chances by issuing grades) in the form of minor or daily assignments. Among the notables I have issued and do issue are
