 Piotr Rowinski

Piotr is working with me since 2012 on the projects on coral growth and morphometrics in perch and started on his master thesis project in March 2014 on influence of environmental factors in determining growth and behaviour in zebrafish. Originally from Poland. Piotr presented his thesis in Jan 2015 and is now enrolled as a PhD student at Stockholm University.

Sofia Lundberg

Sofia did her bachelor thesis in my lab using a dataset on the freshwater pearl mussel in some Värmland streams collected by the local county administrative board (Länsstyrelsen). Co-supervised with Ulf Lindh.

Marian Schmid

Marian did his master thesis project on parasites in the Baltic and Biotest perch populations at the University of Konstanz, Germany under the supervision of Jasminca Behrmann-Godel and visited my lab and prof Mats Björklund during the summer 2014 to collect field data.

Kanaka Gurrala

Kanaka, originally from India, but on a master thesis program in Umeå visited my lab for a research training course. She assisted in generating transgenic zebrafish and examine behaviour in perch in the fall of 2013 and spring  of 2014.

Jasmine Stavenow

Jasmine, an Uppsala native, is doing a bachelor thesis in my lab between Oct 2013 and Jan 2014 on personality and behavior in perch. 

Joaquín Alcalde

Joaquín is a research training student and will be working on the host-parasite system involving Diplostoma parasites and perch in the Biotest enclosure. Originally from Spain and now studying for a master thesis. Sep 2013-Oct 2013.

 Ghazaleh Alavioon and Alireza Chenani

Both are assisting with sampling in various projects. Ghazal is doing her Master in Biology and Ali is about to finish his in physics. Both originally from Iran.

Dr Susanna Piovano

Postdoc from University of Torino, Italy visiting my lab for 6 months to work on perch in the Biotest enclosure at Forsmark. June-Nov 2012. She is now working at the University of Southern Pacific, Fiji.

Deniz Alpay

Erasmus Exchange Program, from Gazi University, Turkey visiting my lab for 3 months to gain research experience. June 2012- Sep 2012.

Ghazaleh Ghiassi

MSc student at Uppsala University. Did a research training course at my lab during Sep 2011. Originally from Iran.
