2006-2009 Researcher, Department of Zoology, Göteborg University, Göteborg, Sweden (3y). Funded by the European Community’s Marie Curie Outgoing International Fellowship (outgoing phase 2006-2008 at DFO/UBC Centre for Aquaculture and Environmental Research, West Vancouver, BC, Canada and return 2009 to the Department of Zoology/Animal Ecology, Göteborg University, Göteborg, Sweden). Conducting experimental scientific research in lab, under semi-natural conditions and in the field. Using wild and growth hormone (GH) transgenic salmonids within an ecological risk-assessment framework to study evolutionary, ecological and behavioral effects of rapid growth and high GH production.

2004-2006 Researcher, Department of Fisheries and Oceans and University of British Columbia’s Centre for Aquaculture and Environmental Research, West Vancouver, Canada (2y). Funded by the Canadian Research Council NSERC on a Visiting Fellowship (2004-5) and the Swedish Research Council FORMAS on a post-doctoral fellowship (2005-6). Conducted scientific research as described above.
