Conference organization

There are two main yearly conferences in my field of research: The Spring Topology and Dynamical Systems Conference and the Summer Conference on Topology and its Applications.

I am a member of the Advisory Board to the Spring Topology and Dynamical Systems Conference, a cycle of international conferences that started in 1967 and travels across the United States, typically gathering between 150 and 200 researchers and graduate students from across the globe.

I was one of the organizers of the 44th edition that took place at Mississippi State University in 2010, and I was the main organizer of the 51st edition which took place at NJCU in March 2017. See here for details.

I am currently a member of the Advisory Board to the Summer Conference on Topology and its Applications, a cycle of international conferences that started in 1984 and travels across the world, typically gathering between 150 and 200 researchers and graduate students from across the globe. I have chaired the Advisory Board from 2014 to 2017.

I was one of the main organizers of the 21st conference, held at Georgia Southern in 2006. I have also been a special session organizer (Topological Methods in Algebra and Analysis) at the 31st conference held at Leicester University (UK) in 2016, and will be as well for the 32nd conference to be held at University of Dayton in 2017.

Additionally, I have been on the organizing committee of the 31st Southeastern Atlantic Regional Conference on Differential Equations, and the Spring 2011 AMS Southeastern sectional meeting, both hosted by Georgia Southern University in 2011.

I have also organized several special sessions at AMS meetings: special session on Set-Theoretic Topology (with Peter Nyikos) and special session on Categorical Topology (with Gavin Seal) at the Spring 2011 AMS Southeastern sectional meeting, and a special session on Categorical Topology (with Gavin Seal) at the 2014 MAA-AMS Joint Meeting in Baltimore.
