Bookboon books
I have published a series of three free Calculus e-books with Bookboon.com. I am working on a second edition of the first book, and a companion book of exercises.
A youtube Calculus Workbook (Part I) is a free e-book meant to accompany a set of 94 instructional videos corresponding to a first-semester college level (or AP Calc level) Calculus course. A free (ad-supported) version can be downloaded here, where you can also find reviews from users. An ad-free mobile friendly version can be purchased here.
A youtube Calculus Workbook (Part II) is a free e-book meant to accompany a set of 108 instructional videos corresponding to a second semester college level (or AP Calc level) Calculus course. A free (ad-supported) version can be downloaded here, where you can also find reviews from users. An ad-free mobile friendly version can be purchased here.
Exercises for A youtube Calculus Workbook Part II is, as the name indicates a companion e-book of exercises for the Workbook part II. Its structures in modules mirrors that of the workbook. The book includes, for 31 topics, a worksheet of exercises without solutions, which are typically meant to be either worked out in class with the help of the teacher or assigned, a homework set consisting of exercises similar to those of the worksheet, and the complete solutions of the homework sets. It also contains four mock tests with solutions, and a sample final exam with solutions.A free (ad-supported) version can be downloaded here, where you can also find reviews from users. An ad-free mobile friendly version can be purchased here.
Additionally, a brief discussion of the use of the Workbook and the exercise book in a flipped classroom model is included. See this seminar talk on the use of this model in Calculus.
Calculus books projects
I am currently working on related projects:
An in-print and significantly extended version of the two "workbooks" that would result in a Single Variable Calculus book, with companion video lectures. A working version of the part corresponding roughly to the first workbook can be consulted here (it is better to download a local copy on your computer to have active links)
An "Advanced/ semi-Advanced" version of Calculus, with more emphasis on proofs and a little more flavor of introduction to Analysis. Initial drafts--far from complete when it comes to the material to cover--of two semester courses can be found here and here (it is better to download a local copy on your computer to have active links).
