Joel Harvey is lecturer in clinical psychology and programme lead for the MSc in Clinical Forensic Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London. He completed his PhD in Criminology at the University of Cambridge and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manchester. He has worked clinically in various secure and community forensic settings, with both adults and young people. He is author of Young Men in Prison: Surviving and Adapting to Life Inside (Willan) and co-editor of Psychological Therapy in Prisons and Other Secure Settings (Willan).
