dott. Romina Zappacosta

Romina Zappacosta after obtaining a Degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies at the University of Chieti, Italy, earned her Ph.D. Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the same University. She is currently a post-doc research fellow in Organic Chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy of the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti, Italy.

Her main field of interest is supramolecular aggregation of natural and synthetic surfactants, with special focus on liposome stability, targeting and capacity to entrap different guests. Recently she studied the role of electromagnetic radiation in the processes of induction and/or prevention of formation of methane hydrates.
