Nicole uses the FRC® system with her clients.
According to Functional Range Systems there are 3 main training goals, all interrelated, when using the Functional Range Conditioning system:
Mobility Development
Joint Strength
Body Control
Why are muscle imbalances bad?
When there is not an even balance in the muscles surrounding a joint, this can lead to malalignment…a big culprit in pain (and wearing down of that joint). Imbalances can also lead to injuries.
By properly training strength and mobility, your body will learn how to move freely with less pain, and decrease your risk of injury. With less pain your quality of life increases and setbacks are less severe and further apart. Anyone who suffers from chronic pain can definitely appreciate that statement.
"I have been training with Nicole since 2021. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis during our training and she has been so helpful finding exercises that work best for me. Nicole has given me the confidence to take up fat tire biking at age 60. I have better posture, more flexibility, and a stronger core thanks to her knowledge. I look forward to our session every week and am so thankful to have Nicole in my life."

"I came to Nicole a few years ago with back pain. I had a hard time even walking my dogs as they occasionally pulled on their leashes causing my back to spasm with pain. I was unable to do a lot of things that I had previously done because of back pain. Nicole worked with me by doing a lot of core strengthening exercises. Now, not only is my back in much better shape with very little pain, I am stronger all over! At 65 years of age, I am able to enjoy walking my dogs, kayaking, canoeing , hiking, camping and running. Nicole knows what she is doing and I'm so grateful that I found her!"
