Training Style:
Prevention is the best medicine. Nicole teaches her clients how to properly move and recruit the correct muscles. It can look like you’re doing an exercise the right way, but many times other muscles are dominating and the muscle that is supposed to be working remains undeveloped, which leads to a muscle imbalance. If you are looking for a trainer to give you a generic plan to build strength or lose weight quickly, then she is not for you. Changing the way your body moves and functions is a process and a lifestyle, not a quick fix.
Getting Started:
At your first session, Nicole will perform various movement screens on you looking at your mobility, flexibility, strength and testing for imbalances. Your health and medical history will be discussed, as well as your own goals. With this information, Nicole better knows where to begin personalizing your workout plan. From there you progress session to session as you are ready.
Equipment:
No equipment is necessary to start. Nicole can get you some supplies (basic tubing and a door attachment) if you do not have them. She also tries to use what you already have access to for your home workouts. In studio sessions she utilizes a mix of equipment that she has on hand, such as, TRX suspension trainer, medicine balls, BOSU trainer, balance discs, foam rollers, tubing, dumbbells, kettle bells, and various other training tools.
Location:
Nicole trains clients in her private studio located in Plover. Studio is open-air, outdoors in warmer months.
"I first met Nicole when I had several herniated discs in my neck. Little did I know that throughout the years she would help me rehabilitate several other injuries. Nicole is an incredible personal trainer. Because of her expertise, I am healthy and strong today."
