Amy Bullard

Mrs. Bullard – My name is Amy Bullard, and I’m excited to be returning to the first grade team for my twelfth year. I originally joined the CHIME community as a parent, when my eldest son, Jacob, started kindergarten fourteen years ago in Room 1 with Ms.Salazar. Jacob is now a college junior and plays tennis for Arizona State University. Hailey and Ryan, our twins, followed their big brother to CHIME two years later as kindergarteners in Rooms 1 and 2. They are now 18 and starting freshmen years at college. Hailey is off to the University of Oregon and Ryan will be not too far from his big brother at University of Arizona. Time flies! My husband, Pat, and I just celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary, and our whole family is in love with a little 4-year old, 11 pound bundle of licks, treats, and endless games of fetch, Lily.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy being active with my family. We enjoy playing tennis, hiking, and going to the beach together. I also love to read, so if you’ve read any great books lately, I’d love to know about them. I’m originally from Oregon, and my family and I take a road trip there every summer to visit relatives and enjoy the beautiful Northwest. I’m looking forward to getting to know the new first graders and their families.
