The software I use to keep track of our games is called The Tournament Director. Since I recently changed the background image displayed during tournaments, I thought I'd give folks a chance to study where on the screen their favorite information is located.
Starting at the top, you'll see the Tournament Name (generally followed by the date) with the betting rules underneath. Sometimes this portion includes the currently playing song in marquee style. Farther across the top you'll see the MM:SS designation until the next break, and the total run time of the tournament thus far (just over 26 minutes to the next break in the image above).
The dark-text/light-background section is current information about the tournament. We've got 5 minutes 8 seconds left in the current level (which is the fifth), and the small blind is 15, the big blind 30, with an ante of 3 chips.
Under that is information for the following level (level 6 will last 7 minutes 0 seconds, will have a small blind of 20 and a big blind of 40, with 5 chip ante). You'll also see information about the last level during which you can rebuy (in this case, during the 10th level).
Finally across the bottom are three tables with various pieces of information. To the left you'll see the players (8 still in the tournament out of 8 bought in), numbers of rebuys (3), how many add-ons have been taken (if any, this tournament is not add-on allowable), and the current clock time (I snapshotted this image at 36 minutes after noon).
In the Statistics & Chips section you'll see the number of chips in play, how many chips were in a starting stack, the current average stack among remaining players, and whomever is currently in the hitman lead.
Finally, you'll see a table which spells out how the prizes will be distributed (which will get updated up to the point of the last rebuy).
Hope this is helpful!
