During Kindness Week, let's focus on ways we can be kind to our families, friends, and community!

Donate to our Fairlands No Kid Hungry Kindness fundraiser
Every $10 can feed a child up to 100 meals. We are partnering with local business Schlicher Orthodontics to help hungry kids get free meals and to end child hunger in the U.S.
Acts of Kindness ideas:
Send thank you cards to firefighters, first responders, and medical professionals
Donate clothes to charity (leaving a happy note in the pocket)
Donate to the local food bank
Sort through your toys and donate any that you no longer play
Leave chalk messages around where you live
Write a letter to your sibling telling them why you love them
Send a care package to someone in the military
Pass on some of your books to friends
Write thank you cards for your teacher, coach, or people that have influenced you in a positive way
Pick up litter in your neighborhood with an adult
Help out around the house without being asked to
Donate pet food to a local shelter
Walk someone else’s dog
Give out a compliment
Be polite by picking up something from the floor, saying please and thank you
Let someone go in front of you in line
Call an elderly relative and have a nice chat with them, ask them about their childhood
Donate this week’s allowance or chore money to charity
Do a chore for someone without them knowing
Leave happy notes or kindness rocks around your neighborhood
Check in on an elderly neighbor
Set the table for dinner
Tell someone why they are special to you
Call a friend you haven’t seen in a while to say hello
Read a book to someone
Leave pennies on the pavement
Tell someone how much you love them
Say hi to and smile at everyone you see
Make someone else’s bed
Help make dinner
Teach someone something new

Ask for donations instead of birthday gifts
Adopt an animal online
