About Fairlands PTA
Fairlands parents volunteering to help our kids
Fairlands Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is run by volunteer Fairlands parents. Our goal is to positively impact the lives of all children and families in the Fairlands community by:
supporting educational programs at school, both financially and through volunteer hours (library books, classroom supplies, room parents, class art lessons, and more)
organizing community events (Ice Cream Social, Fall Festival, Holiday Breakfast, Family Fun Bingo Night, and more)
reaching out to our diverse cultural mix to have students, teachers, and family members feel accepted and included
Additional info can be found in the FAQs.
How You Can Help:
Volunteer - our events and programs are run entirely by volunteers and would not be possible without the help of parents like you. Various opportunities (during school, at home, one-time) are available to fit your interests and schedule.
Donate - 100% of your tax-deductible contributions goes to Fairlands (shade structures over lunch tables, literacy and math programs, library seating, community events, PE and playground equipment and so much more)
Corporate Match - double your donation with your employer's match program
Purchase PTA membership - buying a membership has no obligations or commitments for volunteering or attending meetings. Members receive discounted rates on event tickets and yearbooks.
Attend general meetings - hear Principal updates and stay informed and vote on issues impacting Fairlands.
AmazonSmile - select Fairlands PTA as the recipient for your Amazon Smile purchases
Office Depot Give Back - select FAIRLANDS ELEMENTARY SCHOOLID: 70012485 as the recipient for select Office Depot purchases.
The National PTA (Parent Teacher Association), established over 100 years ago, is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization of parents, educators, students, health and welfare professionals, and community members working exclusively to improve the education and well-being of ALL children and youth at home, school and in the community.
