Assignment Description:

Using 2D drawing tools in Rhino, create your vinyl design in Rhino. Create both a hatched version as a visualization of your final design, as well as a curves version for sending to the Vinyl Plotter/Cutter in the Thing Tank lab. Document this assignment in your Process Blog.

Assignment Requirements:

1.) In Rhino, use the 2D tools we've been practicing to create your final design in Rhino. Remember to consider SCALE for this drawing, as the vinyl plotter has minimum line thickness tolerances.

2.) If necessary, use the pictureFrame command to import a reference image.

3.) Create a hatched version of your final design, as a visualization of the actual vinyl. Include a screenshot of the resulting image in your blog post for this assignment.

4.) Create a curves version of your design as well - this will be exported as a .AI file for sending to the Vinyl Plotter in the Thing Tank. Include screenshots of the curves version in your post as well.

6.) This blog entry should include:

a.) Your original sketches

b.) Screenshot(s) of the hatched version of your design

c.) Screenshot(s) of the curves version of your design.
