Swans

For years, until my girlfriend Suzanne Bennett moved to Brooksby Village in Peabody MA, we would locate ponds where there were swans and photograph them. Our favorite places were where there were rented swans at Unicorn Park in Woburn and an industrial park on River Road in Andover. We also liked Horn Pond in Woburn and Winter Pond in Winchester. Suzanne loved photographing swans and had names for her favorites. Because she photographed them so much and so often and advanced in her photography, she was able to get some beautiful photos of new parents with their babies - cygnets. One of my favorites of hers was a mother with her child upon her back.

I have a ton of swan photos myself and some of my favorites are below.  The swan resting and looking as if it is meditating was taken at Unicorn Park in Woburn. The mother and her baby, as well as the three cygnets (cropped) and the swan in water that was photoshopped to show a blue background, were taken at the industrial park in Andover.
