On February 9, 2000 visited Montezuma's Castle cliff dwelling ruins in Sedona, Arizona. I was by myself with my Nikon N8008 camera. On my walk around the site, I stopped for a few moments and put out a request to my inner self that I wanted to photograph a fairy. I did see a light but it wasn't until I got the photograph developed that I noticed what looked like a fairy in the upper left corner. In showing my Sedona trip photos, I never mentioned the light or fairy, but one friend asked, "Is that a fairy?" I said it was but in 12 years had not shown this photo and rarely mentioned I had seen one in Sedona. I guess it was just waiting on the right time to show it. Got the print digitized and the fairy light cropped and enlarged. It may not look like a fairy to anyone who has not seen one, but in 1979 I actually saw one in my Nashua, NH apartment flitting back and forth in a white dress between an agave plant and a vase of dried flowers. A friend of mine I often meditated with, Linda Tanner, who passed into spirit in 1992, also saw her at the same time. Fairies vibrate very fast and if you look at the light closely, it will seem as if this little being is actually vibrating. I love the light around the head, the part sticking out in the back, which I believe is a wing, and the elongated blue light area that I believe are the legs. I hope you enjoy this photo as much as I do.
