Recent Vandalism

With much regret, the EHT Nature Reserve Committee has come to learn that there are individuals who do not share our appreciation for the nature, well-being and peace of mind which one can find at the Reserve. We have implemented policies for catch and release fishing, leashing of dogs and carry in-carry out trash disposal. Unfortunately, inappropriate behavior, including some criminal, tarnish our mission of creating a unique, first-class facility that we can all be proud of in Egg Harbor Township.

As revealed in the pictures below, individuals have recently vandalized the bike rack by the Zion Road parking lot, cut down a tree in the Arboretum, and spray-painted numerous items through the trails. There is an abundance of garbage left throughout the facility, dogs left to roam disturbing wildlife and other visitors as well as the use of motorized vehicles, all prohibited in the park. We asked that people use their common sense, be courteous and respectful for your fellow citizens and the environment to keep the Reserve a special place.
