Session 6 (e-learning) and 7 (jig-saw)

The instructions for next week's e-Learning are available online.

    • The group-based activity gets you started on your group assignment.
    • Refer to your class page > special needs topics. Refer to the case study in the comments column. Each case provides a context for each topic.
    • If you click on your topic, a blank wiki page will open. This is your group's space. You may use the questions in the e-Learning document as a scaffold to populate this space.

The content of Session 7 will be taught by you using a modified jig-saw method.

    • Refer to your class page for topic assignments (see special needs topics table), a summary template and space for you to embed your presentation file(s).
    • All topic groups will need to co-edit the summary template.
    • Each topic group will have about 20min to present. Think beyond the traditional presentation as some concepts may be better illustrated by role play, videos, experiential learning, etc.
    • The template and presentation resources are due the day before Session 7.
    • I recommend using the Edwards (2008) book as a primary reference.
