Julia Andrew dạy piano tại Đại học Monmouth. Bên cạnh việc giảng dạy của mình, cô còn tham gia đệm đàn, biểu diễn Recital, tham gia hội nghị, và là thành viên ban giám khảo của những cuộc thi piano.
Andrew tốt nghiệp bằng Thạc sĩ Âm nhạc tại Đại học Nebraska, Lincoln. Tại đây cô đã học môn sư phạm âm nhạc với TS. Brenda Wristen và piano với TS. Mark Clinton. Cô có 2 bằng đại học âm nhạc về piano và lý luận âm nhạc từ Texas Tech University ở Lubbock,Texas. Tại đây cô học piano với TS. Lora Deahl. Trong thời gian này, cô đã được những Giải thưởng danh dự cho kết quả rất cao trong học tập cũng như hoạt động biểu diễn xuất sắc của cô.
Bên cạnh giảng dạy tại Đại học Monmouth, Andrew còn tham gia giảng dạy môn đệm đàn tại Đại học Knox và điều hành Dàn hợp xướng Galesburg Community. Hoạt động năng động trong Hội Giảng viên Âm nhạc Quốc gia (Mỹ), gần đây cô đã tham gia vào Hội đồng Giảng viên Âm nhạc Bang Nebraka. Andrew thường biểu diễn dọc xuốt miền Tây-Trung nước Mỹ với nhóm tam tấu nhạc jazz “Surprisingly Hip”. Bên cạnh biểu diễn với các nhóm hòa tấu cổ điển hay nhạc jazz, Andrew còn dạy thêm ngoài và cô là một nhạc sĩ tự do chuyên về chuyển soạn âm nhạc.

Julia Andrews teaches piano at Monmouth College. In addition to Her teaching responsibilities, she accompanies studio lessons, recitals, convocations, and juries.
Andrews graduated with the Master of Music degree from the University Of Nebraska, Lincoln where she studied pedagogy from Dr. Brenda Wristen and piano from Dr. Mark Clinton. She received two Bachelor’s of Music degrees in piano and music theory from Texas Tech University in Lubbock,Texas, where she studied piano with Dr. Lora Deahl. While at Texas Tech, she was a Presser Scholar for excellence in music and was the Highest Ranked Undergraduate in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
In addition to teaching at Monmouth, Andrews also teaches and Accompanies at Knox College and manages the Galesburg Community Chorus. She is active in Music Teachers National Association and recently served on the Nebraska Music Teacher’s State Board. Andrews regularly performs across the mid-west with local jazz trio “Surprisingly Hip.” In demand as a performer and teacher, Andrews accompanies for area chamber and choral groups and judges competitions throughout the region. In addition to performing in classical and jazz ensembles, Andrews teaches private lessons and is a free-lance arranger.
