Module Information
Some of the documents are chapters from a new textbook (Applied Economics: Explaining Global Issues in National Contexts) to be published by Springer Nature. The book is co-authored by Prof James Foreman-Peck and myself. Comments are welcome. We will cover them in the first week of each topic in a taught-based fashion.
Basic: The first lecture focuses on the intuition and narratives.
Advanced: The second lecture focuses on the analysis and technicalities.
Other documents are articles published in leading journals. We will discuss them in the following week of each topic in a research-led fashion.
Led by the lecturer: The lecturer presents the research to the students.
Led by the students: The students present and discuss the research.
