The B5308 is a short (0.5 miles / 0.8km) urban road in Holmes Chapel, a small town in Cheshire. It links the A50 and A535 near St. Luke's Church, to the A54 west of the town centre.
Originally the B5308 number was assigned to Chester Road to the south, with Middlewich Road taking the A54 number. The numbers were swapped over to avoid M6-bound traffic on the A54 having to negotiate the narrowing of the A50 London Road at St. Luke's Church.
