The A534 runs from Wrexham to Congleton, a distance of about 37 miles (60km). It connects the Cheshire towns of Nantwich, Crewe and Sandbach.
Between Sandbach and Congleton, the A534 meets the M6 at junction 17, a diamond interchange. Thereafter there are junctions with the A5022 and a traffic light controlled crossroads with the A50 at Arclid. A few miles of rural road follow before the town of Congleton is reached. The A534 terminates at a roundabout with the A34 and A54.
