R packages

I am continuously writing functions to facilitate analysis of biological data, in particular when implementing analytical methods for social networks, in R. As these mature, and others find them useful, I am slowly turning them into standalone packages that I will publish here and in the literature. Thus far, I have four packages that are complete. These are available for download on CRAN:

ASNIPE

A package that does many of the animal-centric network analyses that are not found in mainstream packages, such as randomisations of the data stream.

ASSORTNET

Implements both the discrete and continuous measures of the assortativity coefficient described by Newman (2003), as well as my own implementation of these for weighted-edge networks.

ANIDOM

Provides functionality for quantifying dominance hierarchies and exploring their steepness.

ASSOCIND

Provides a number of new association indices and tools for exploring bias arising from mismatches between expected and real values of observation probability.
