I'm thrilled and excited to be attending the reunion this Saturday. Some of my best and most fond memories were the times I spent in the Drama Guild, especially the Summer Theatre.
It was just a short bus ride from my home in Ironbound Newark, but it was like a journey to another world each day. A big part of that is because it was the nicest and most fun group of people I ever worked with. I remember my Dad picking me up each night around 10 or later if there was a performance and after 1 am if we had a mixer after the Friday night show.
My time in Summer Theatre changed my life forever. I enjoyed working in publicity for the theatre so much I studied communications at Fordham and worked as a journalist, in public relations and news information, and finally in my own printing and direct mail business for over 25 years.
So I'm counting the days till I get to see so many of you again and for those of you who can not join us you will be in our hearts.
Thank you to anyone who shared this part of my life with me.
