What can you say about one day of life ...

Greetings, O Pioneers and Pilgrims!

What can you say about one day of life, such as November 17, 2012?

If I could, I would ...

Thank the cast, crew, staff, and director for your goodness, grace, and talent. You gifted  us with a rare chance to revisit and refresh our former selves in your company.

Thank you few, you happy few, who worked behind the curtain to present the magic of "Benedictine hospitality as usual."

Honor our esteemed educator, Frank Torok, by sharing publicly, for the first time anywhere, my secret dramaturgical bucket list—to wit, to play the following roles:

-Chorus in Henry V

-Prospero in The Tempest

-Either Niels Bohr or Werner Heisenberg in Michael Frayn's Copenhagen

-And on the musical side of house, in fond memory of Fr. Eugene Schwarz, O.S.B., to perform the speaking role of the Narrator in Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait.

Now, let me ask you: If I can't put all of this "out there" here, in my old hood, where shall I go? What shall I do?

Heartfelt wishes for a Blessed Thanksgiving to all,
