The Double Eagle Golf Club will have special events through the year including Victorian Greek Golf Callenge and social events such as dinners and Trivia nights.

Social Events

Hello DEGC members, we have the following social events for 2026 and early 2027. Please book through teh DEGC App and include the number of attendees with your registration (eg you an parter would be 2 attending).

1. Winery Saturday afternoon: Sunday 18th of October 2026

Location: Zonzo Estate - Yarra Valley, 957 Healesville - Yarra Glen Road, Yarra Glen

We have made a booking for 50 people (Maximum) - Non private lunch in a communal dining space in the restaurant.

The Menu includes:

• Antipasto

• Wood-fired bread

• Mixed artisan salumi, pickles, olives and Stracciatella cheese

• Pizza - A round of wood-fired pizzas

• Secondi - Slow cooked lamb shoulder with green pea salsa verde

• Contorni - Leaf salad and Roast potatoes

We will also need to know of any dietary requirements when booking.

2. Gala 40th Anniversary event: 20th of March 2027 

Location: Apollo Room Estate - Yarra Valley, 957 Healesville - Yarra Glen Road, Yarra Glen

On behalf of the Social and Executive Committees, you are all cordially invited to celebrate the incredible milestone of 40 years of the Double Eagle Golf Club. 

Venue: Apollo Room, Cafe Greco, Oakleigh Eaton St. Mall

When: Saturday 20th of March 2027.

Time: 7.30pm until late

Dress: Formal

Details:

• Further details will follow regarding costs and gastronomic and beverage particulars. 

• There will be new Members inducted into the DEGC Hall of fame, brief historical facts about the club, raffle prizes, music, dancing - it will be an evening of fun and frivolity. 

• Please indicate your intent to attend through the DEGC app. 

• Of course partners are included and we shall reach out to past members to attend as well. If you are able to pass the word onto any lapsed members, please do so. The more the merrier!
