Research positions are open in CoMAR group for visiting PhD students, visiting scholars, self-funded Research Master students, self-funded PhD students and self-funded Post-Doctoral researchers. Research topics focus on compliant/flexure mechanisms in three application areas: Precision Engineering , Energy Harvesting and Medical/Health Devices.

• You can apply for the Irish Research Council (IRC) Postgraduate and Postdoctoral fundings  (http://www.research.ie/funding-opportunities) to fund yourself, or you can be self-funded via your personal money (you can apply for the Non-EU fee waiver).

• If you are a Chinese student (even though you are studying abroad), you can apply for funds from China Scholarship Council (http://en.csc.edu.cn/). 

爱尔兰国立科克大学(University College Cork)工程学院电子与电气工程系柔顺机构与机器人研究组诚挚招收国家留学基金委公派博士研究生（攻读博士学位或者联合培养） 招收研究方向为精密运动机械，纳米机电系统，生物医药装置，材料结构设计，以及监测健康的能量收获。根据国家留学基金委与爱尔兰国立科克大学签署的为期5年的博士项目合作协议，国家留学基金委每年提供 12个攻读博士学位奖学金名额（最长资助期限为4年）给科克大学，科克大学将提供中国留学生全额学费以及相应的研究费用。对具有良好的数学、力学、控制、机电/机器人基础的学生给于优先考虑，要求雅思IELTS6.5（小科不低于6.0）。诚挚邀请有兴趣的同学加入我们年轻充满活力的研究团体!
