grumble if you must
it’s true
the morning’s greyer
bedtime’s harder
bodies can be stubborn
refusing to adjust
to artificial time-shifts
but as for me
I prefer to think
of my days drawing
gently to a close
while still it’s light
I will always choose
more light
later
