As the mission of our institute is "To nurture the intellectual growth of learners for serving the society through the creation, application, and dissemination of knowledge relevant to the best practices of engineering and Technology for socio-economic growth of the nation”. To fulfill this mission central library is playing its key role by serving its users. It is said by the father of library science that library is growing an organization, the library keeps growing in its all aspects. Change is the nature of the world, so it is accepted by libraries. Implementation of information communication technology has become an essential part of the library. In a changed environment library always try to meet its user needs for information, knowledge by updating its source of knowledge. The library is bound to fulfill its user`s needs for information. 

About the library: Special Features

Implementation of Barcode technology in the library along with Borrowers cards to faculty and students.

Library Collection through Dewey Decimal Classification scheme which is internationally known and accepted scheme for library classification.

Open Access is provided to users. They are allowed to search books direct to the bookshelf.

Facility of the Internet for faculty and students of the College.

Orientation Course regarding Library use for new students enrolled during induction Program.

Guidance with respect to technical and organizational matters relating to libraries is extended, when asked for.

Special Reading room facilities for Faculty Members.

Syllabus and Question bank is available.

The library is automated and all record maintain by using Auto Lib library software. Issue & Return of reading material.  

Resources of Knowledge

In central library has 45144 and plus print books including textbooks and reference books, Seventy-six print national journals are available.

Electronic journals packages like IEEE, ASME, ASCE are subscribed to by the library. The library has an educational membership of Indian Institute

of Technology Bombay (IIT), as well as membership of Developing Library Network (DELNET). Internet facility is available in the library. 

As publishing nature of resources is changed, a lot of resources are publishing online. Open access resources are available on the internet, the library always directs its users to this important source of knowledge.

Web-OPAC: Web-OPAC is an online catalog of a library. Through OPAC bibliographic details of a library, documents can be accessed through from any of the computer terminals available in the institute. Search your library book here.
E-Journals: E-Journals are important sources of Knowledge. Electronic journals, also known as e-journals and electronic serials, are scholarly journals or intellectual magazines that can be accessed via electronic transmission. DMCE Has subscriptions of IEEE, ASME, ASCE Packages. Subscription is on IP base, users can access journals from anywhere from DMCE campus. Central Library has applied QR Codes for e-resources, for accessing e-journals on your smartphone please log in through DMCE Wi-Fi connection.
D Space/Institutional Repository : D Space is an open source repository software package typically used for creating open access repositories for scholarly published digital content.DMCE IR includes Staff Publication, a Student publication, E courseware, Syllabus, Question Paper Bank, Question paper bank of College unit exams.digital contents by community members and Institute.  
--------------------------------------------------National Digital Library of India: Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) has initiated the National Digital Library of India (NDL India) pilot project to develop a framework of a virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find out the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDL India is designed to hold the content of any language and provides interface support for leading Indian languages.

NPTEL: Educational Videos Lectures, Courses, Classes from NPTEL & IITs (Kharagpur, Bombay, Delhi, Chennai, Kanpur, Guwahati), MIT, Stanford - Youtube Downloadable Video Tutorials, Classes.


Open Access Resources are research materials have been made available to the general public, free of charge: data and datasets, books and articles, including scholarly research articles.  

E-books, articles, online resources recommended by university syllabus links are provided. Users can explore these resources on their own.
