Hi Martin! thanks for your answer. The work was conducted with a scrollsaw.

You are right in saying that what I wanted was a flattening of the dark knight.

I found your site that includes a 3d enterprise puzzle

There is a link to several of the files, but I couldn’t seem to find one for the enterprise. If available, I would like to have a copy because I would like to try to cut it on my cnc router for a school fundraising auction. Ron Werner-Wilson

Dear Martin: Thanks for forwarding the dxf file. If I am able to cut it properly, I will certainly give you credit. I am using a home-made cnc machine that I purchased from Craigslist. I have upgraded the controller to the Gecko G540 and have been teaching myself Vectric Aspire and Mach 3. The learning curve has been both frustrating and rewarding. Ron

Hi Martin

My friend bought a machine for cutting MDF. I am a fan of this series and I am looking for a project for the Enterprise D (dxf or cdr). Can you help me?

Hello my name is Kevin , I'm from Germany. My English is not that good. Seeking the DXF file of the Star Trek starship USS Enterprise, I have come through Google on their side and wanted to ask if they could provide me the DXF to disposal. The Enterprise would be made by means of laser made of stainless steel . I would be very very grateful him. Best regards

Thanks for the DXF file, the model is made of 1.5 millimetres steel

Dear Kevin

It looks really great. I'm interested to know what technique you used to rescale the slots to 1.5mm from the 4.1 inthe original model dxf?

I've added you photo's (here)

Martin

We have lasered the Enterprise with a laser from Trumpf. We use a software program which adjusts the size of the space ship to the thickness of the material. So there are no limits. Thank you

Dear Kevin

Great to hear from you. You are not the 1st from Germany to show an interest in the Enterprise 3d Puzzle (See Frank above)

Please find attached the DXF as requested - please give appropriate credit to the author. The DXF is scaled for a material thickness of 4.1mm, if you are using a different material thickness it can be re-scaled in Google SketchUp if you are having difficulties please let me know.

Please send photographs of the cutting, manufacture and finished model.

Yours sincerely and in good faith
