Hardwood PSION logo plaque

This limited edition polished hardwood plaque manufactured from salvaged Sapele offcuts was created for PSION enthusiasts as surprise Christmas presents. The photos show the timber colour with wavey grain and a size of 295mm x 145mm x 10mm. The back has 4 double sided tape tabs to allow it to be fixed to any smooth flat surface. Sapele is a sustainable African hardwood used as a replacement for the less sustainable African Mahogany. Polished with two coats solvent free interior lacquer.

What about a Sinclair logo plaque in Corian or Sapele... Gary Hawes posted.. they look good Martin, how do you make them. Using 3D design software (Vectic Partworks) and wood cutting CNC machine (ShopBot)

The finalised plaque went up on eBay in January 2022. being an ideal gift for any Sinclair Computer enthusiast or user. Cut from Sapele timber at 300mm x 65mm x 10mm. The Sinclair logo lettering is raised from the face and finished with matt black paint. The ZX Spectrum logo is carved into the face and finished in white. The black and white colour scheme being taken from the original ZX Spectrum.

Or an MG EV Parking Plaque

An MG EV Forum member who had his car charger installed in an apartment block shared car park asked for a sign he could use to help him reserve the space for his car next to the charger. I knocked up half a dozen and the remaining few are posted on eBay in case there are other members in the same situation.
