The Krishnan Temples called "Krishna Ambalams" and as listed in 108 divya desams are lesser known to the local people than big Devi temples as Chottanikere or Bhagavathi Amman.
For Sl.no.2 & 3 can stay at Shoranoor; for Sl.no.4 to stay at Chenganoor.

The temples in Kerala are worshipped by "Pothis" and not by Archakar or Bhattacharyas as in other vaishnava temples in other parts of South India.
The offerings here are flowers, Chandan paste and tulsi leaves.
The interesting fact is that these temples are kept spotlessly clean and the staff take pride in doing so.
No male member is allowed to enter the temple in pants & in the shirt, irrespective of caste, creed or placement in life.
All the temples use only oil lit lamps inside the karpagraham - a chain of oil lamps decorates the temple - a very fascinating scene indeed!
